Study startup shouldn't feel chaotic. Scoped support for a defined piece of work: eCOA implementation, vendor oversight, EDC build, or data management per study protocol. You bring the project, I bring the systems expertise to get it right.
Data quality starts upstream, not downstream. Ongoing data-management leadership without a full-time hire. I help you develop a data philosophy that aligns collection design, system selection, governance, and quality oversight into one coherent framework.
Team Training & Capability
Systems only work if the people using them understand them. I develop and deliver training for coordinators, data managers, operations teams, and sponsors - turning technical knowledge into practical capability.
Training could include onboarding, launch, or capability building. The focus is always on helping people feel confident in their role.
How much does this cost?
It depends entirely on scope. Some engagements are short and focused (2–4 weeks), others are longer or ongoing. I'll talk through what you're working on and give you a realistic estimate. I don't charge hidden fees or scope creep - if the work changes, we'll adjust the scope and timeline together.
How long does this actually take?
Again, depends on scope. A gap assessment is typically 2 weeks. A full EDC redesign might be 3–4 months. Ongoing advisory work is structured month-to-month. I'll be clear about timeline once I understand your situation, the key players, and expected results.
What if we're not sure what we need?
That's mostly normal. A discovery call is designed for that - I'll listen, ask questions, and help you get clarity on what's actually broken and how to fix it. No obligation to move forward.
Can you work with our vendor / our CRO / our EHR system?
Yes. I work vendor-agnostic and platform-agnostic. I care about your data and your outcomes, not protecting any particular tool.
What happens after we finish?
I don't disappear. I'll follow up to make sure the work is driving the outcomes we intended to happen. If something isn't working, we will troubleshoot together. If you need ongoing help, this can be arranged, too. The goal is lasting change, not a hand-off.
